Super Regionals

That’s another HR that I thought was a routine fly. It is just exploding off the bats today.

 

It was crazy last weekend. I usually get annoyed by the “every fly ball is a homer” people but it kind of seems like every one is on a hot day in there.

 

Gonna have to find more offense outside of the long ball in Omaha. That ballpark is enormous

 

We’ve had nine guys on in the first four innings, but obviously the long ball has been the only way to really bring them home. But this team seems like they can play small ball if they have to. IIRC they didn’t lose a series on the road all season—not sure how big the other stadia are, but it’s not like it was all home field advantage driving this season.

 

But HRs are good for now.

I’m a simple man, I just want to see Drew Gilbert hit another home run and blow a goodbye kiss to Paul Mainieri as he rounds 3rd

 

A little worried that no lead is safe with the way the ball is popping, but Tidwell has had pretty good stuff and nine runs is a lot of insurance.
