Yogi was a national treasure. Easily one of my favorite chapters on Baseball is Yogi's.

He lived a long, happy life. When you get into the 90s, you've pretty much maximized your potential on the lifespan front.

My grandmother passed at 94, and of course it bummed me out because my grandmother was awesome. But she lived a good one. Biggie ups Nanni. And biggie ups to you too, Yogi.

The wife's grandmother that just passed was 95. I'll miss her because she too was awesome. But, I wasn't as sad as I expected. I realized she lived a long and healthy life. Hard to feel too bad about a life that long that was able to live in her own home up until her last 3 months. I viewed the funeral as a celebration of a great woman's long life that was well-lived.

The good nature he showed in being alright with everyone casting him as the clown showed how truly wise he was.
