I think UT can score on them. Unfortunately, Alabama has some sort of hyper-Big XII offense that will put up at least 40, and that’s a lowballed number because it will require injuries or the game getting out of hand early and Alabama coasting to the finish. Pruitt can possibly scheme well enough to slow them down a bit, but there’s too much to overcome with Alabama this year. Hurts will be in during the 3rd. Just hold your nose at the result and enjoy watching a team that is learning to fight.

In previous threads of this nature, I have picked the Vols to beat Florida and Georgia. Didn't work out so good. Didn't make a pick on the Auburn game. Yeaasssssss!

Beat Bama and go 4-8, or
Lose to Bama and go 8-4?

 

Beating bama and then losing the rest of our games would be horrible and anticlimactic.

Gimme 8-4 and by God, we will all be dancing in the streets and saying "WGWTFA Next Year".

If we are 4-8 because after beating bama Coach Pruitt decided to spend the rest of the season with the team building houses and schools in hurricane ravaged florida and Puerto Rico in a rocky IV style preparation for an undefeated campaign next season, I'm in.

 

Does this 4-8 scenario keep Bama out of the playoff?
