CPA field was about the worst ive seen and smart move to muck it up. Held Gray to 140

 

Incredible.

It seems like East TN is pretty much dominated by 3-5 programs.

 

Which means that the state is dominated by 3-5 programs.

It will be curious to see if Middle Tennessee can over take East Tennessee on that front with the population and talent increase.

 

Ha. No doubt Maryville is the cream of the crop but top to bottom mid TN is better.

 

If you’re talking talent, I agree. However East Tennessee generally wins more state titles as a region that the other two.

Maryville has won a few they had no business winning based on talent.

I do think the coaching gap will close.

 

Greeneville and Alcoa might be the two best teams in the state this year.

However, round 6 between maryville and Oakland in 6A will be another good one.

 

I’m talking overall teams. Let’s be real, in the top class it is Maryville and nobody else. 19 straight times doesn’t happen with legit competiton.

The only teams that have a chance against Maryville in class are not coming from East.

 

Interested to see what this new school in Murfreesboro does to oakland talent.

 

A new school pops up in Rutherford or Williamson every 3 years it seems.

 

This one is going to affect them directly. Creasey had been politicking hard to keep certtain areas in oakland zone.

 

Maryville has really good athletes. But so does about everyone else at that level.

The impressive thing about maryville is the community and administration support that they have there and the culture it has built.

 

Yeah. Doubt anybody comes close to them, especially Alcoa.

 

They’re dismissing school half day on Friday so students can travel.

 

Starts at top. It really is amazing.

Ive said over and over the reason i love it here is that despite the growth its still a small town.

 

I’m told the town is secretly run by the Klan.

 

My oldest and I were just at the Maryville middle school, and "Rebel" is plastered everywhere.

 

Tee Hodge out rest of season. Guess its public now.
