I haven't felt this confident in a coaching staff since 2009. There's a lot of pieces on offense to be really good. There's a lot of talent on defense that has no experience. The schedule has two games I consider near locks for losses, outside of those, they aren't "unwinnable". Tennessee needs linemen to stay healthy
I think "most" likely is 7-5. Better chance at 8-4 than 6-6. I picked 9-3 just because I can't see this roster not winning more than last year against a more favorable schedule.
I fully expect that, following the home loss to BYU, the conversation will shift to how likely 3-9 might be.
PMS 151 kool aid is not on readily on tap. Ubben and the other guys at the Athletic and you guys are my only Vol and college football resources.
just read a little about byu. They have a soph qb who came in midway last year for a senior qb. Their best rb option may be a grad transfer who played at both UNC and SC. Their OL will be big and experienced. They do have one 6'4 350 DT we will have trouble moving and usually good lbs and safeties but our wrs should eat their cbs up.
Remember when everyone was shocked he was included in the worst poster contest? Uh huh.................
