Dooley may be worse but Butch is worse for the program. At least Dooley was in and out in 3 years.

My point is, he will still be here. Those players will be gone before the next guy gets here.

 

If we have to invoke Dooley in describing the quality of the current coach, we should automatically initiate the coaching search for the next. Should be contract boiler plate for now on.

 

My dislike for Butch will never reach that of Dooley, but I am long ready for him to be gone. Both are at the top of our worst coaches.

I think Butch gave it all he had, he's just not good enough. I honestly believe he put the work in, it's just not going to work.

He's made some bad decisions. DeBord, keeping Dobbs (at least IMO). He should be accountable for that.

Last year, the only one that makes Butch measurably better, featured wins against a down Mizzou, UGA and USCe.

 

But he also had tough OOC games every year. Lost em, but still.

 

I hope you are right, but I think he will be here for a while. So long as he wins 8 or 9 games a season. Which he should with the talent level he has.

 

If he doesn't win next week he ain't winning 9
