I think her long career actually was a disadvantage, since she had been scrutinized for decades and also on record so long that her positions changed and her adversaries increased.

I get an impression, maybe a wrong one, that conservatives think they are a majority opinion because they control the majority of the government. It just isn't so, the election numbers show that and polls show that.

The control may continue, but it is an artifact of the system, not the population.

I generally agree with what they are saying there about working undesirable jobs. I think technology is going to take care of that soon though
