I haven't watched any pro basketball yet, but I did have my fantasy draft, so there's that.

Tobias Harris with the buzzer beater tonight for the Magic. Scored 18. Good call by my Bucks to trade him. Mother****er.

He's on my fantasy team.....again. He's a solid damn player. I made sure to pick him up.

I had the #2 pick this year and I went with Anthony Davis and I believe it was a wise decision. Dude is A-May-Zing.

I was a guest on this Grizzlies talk radio show this summer.* They brought me on to talk about Stokes, and so that's what I did. But, anyway, I feel like I should start rooting for them a little bit now that I've got a 20 or so minute connection to the franchise.

*I could lie and say they sought me out specifically, but I'd just be lying. They just wanted someone who wrote for RTT, and I happened to be available to do it the night they were doing it.

No need for modesty. It's a cool thing.

The amount of times I used "like" and "you know" was pretty far from cool. Haha. I had no idea I said "you know" so much. I was horrified. Anyway, I ended up doing one more radio guest thing -- for an ESPN radio affiliate in Lexington of all places -- and was much better on the verbal tic front.

Hat could surely comment on this, but I imagine that completely eliminating verbal tics that you've been doing for years without realizing it takes some real effort.

Not really the same thing but back in high school one of my buddies who played football got interviewed by PrepXtra before the season started. We hadn't really ever noticed his verbal tic, but apparently he says "really" way too much. He said "really" about 15 times in a one minute interview, it was hysterical.

What do you guys think about the Kings appealing the loss against the Grizzlies?

There's no basis for it. Wasn't touched. There was 0.3 seconds.

Sour grapes about blowing a big lead.

Seems like throwing the red flag in football. It doesn't hurt to try, nothing to lose.

I think what Lee did probably took longer than .3 seconds. You're not supposed to have time to catch and release.

Of course, if the Kings played ANY defense, it wouldn't be an issue.

talk about some bad D, LeBron figuring out why Love is a problem. Cleveland flat out can't defend anything.

Not sure how much stock to put into a November game, but the Grizzlies beat the piss out of Houston last night.

You know my feelings on that trade. They can't still be this bad defensively in May and June, though, can they?

don't know, but Love's value in all of this looks awfully rough right now.

I'd like to see the plus minus Kryie has when he is on the floor.

He also refuses to play defense.

as it stands, they have two gaping holes on defense and at two very important spots.
