Why parents hold kids back for sports. There's a study that concluded age as the leading factor for kids progressing in a sports program.
Fazion can move. I've seen enough of him to know he has the it factor you look for in a guy that can get out of the pocket and make things happen. Healthy and 15lbs of muscle added by fall will give him a shot to play.
mine just never could. Got stronger and was able to squat 300 and bench 185 but couldn’t get over 150 lbs.
In my younger days, weighed myself, ate a whopper and lost 1lb. I now know it was just variance in the scale, but summed up my youth. Was 155lbs at 6'4 when I got married at 23. Now I'm 56 and 217. Mostly flab. Oh well.
I've been between 190 and 200 since my senior year of high school, I have a winter weight and a summer weight
I've been curling and lifting my kid around like a free weight since birth. He's quintupled in weight and I am starting to get ripped. If I keep this up another 17 years I will be a specimen.
From about month 3 to 6 I would lay my son on the bed with me each night and do a throwing motion with his left hand. Never had a lefty in our family so I was going to try and make him a lefty. It was mostly a joke but damn if the kid is not left handed. Hell of a baseball player already.
Wait until you get old. I mean really old, not this 50-something shit. Hell, I think I weighed 100 in 9th grade and after football weight program a hogmollie 105 in 10th. The bastages had me playing center (I think because I could remember the play to bring in. Me and another guy alternated bringing in the play) that and I was stupid enough to dive at the 200 lb nose guards feet. "We only need 2 or 3 seconds, son.") I too had a summer weight and a winter weight. Probably 5-10 lb swing. Now? Not so much.
If I get to 190 I eat better for a couple weeks. If I get down to 170 I beef up for a couple weeks but definitely enjoy hoodie weather when it’s time to put on winter weight.
I am on a bulk cycle right now and its been fun eating big portions of proteins. Steak, brisket, roast beef, baked chicken...etc.
same but mine is oatmeal cream pies, nutter bars fudge covered Oreos, and nutter butters. Figured the peanut butter in those gets me some protein.
