He was great in a sappy movie that I absolutely love, Secondhand Lions.

That's ok. I figured they were all already dead, except for Morgan Freeman, whose been getting paid for some pharma commercial.

I was just surprised how close in age the others are to him.

Don't let old people fool you. Those pill-thingys with the days of the week? They don't need reminders to take their meds. They are so they know what day of the week it is.

That is actually one of the DVDs the wife wanted. It is a good movie. Duval did good.

Why did I think he died a few years ago?

He had pretty serious medical issues for years now. I'm surprised he lasted this long.

I love history and usually remember a good deal of it but I didn't remember how well he did when he ran for President. He won like 13 primaries. In the years he was running that was a huge accomplishment, maybe one of his biggest. Very impressive.

He was a pretty electrifying speaker with charisma in his heyday, but he made some antisemitic comments in that campaign which derailed it. I remember the point in which I knew he was unraveling health-wise when he gave a pretty tepid speech at the DNC.

I suspect many on here were not born or at best were babes when Maz left Pirates in early 70's.

That 60's World Series vs Yankees was when I really got interested in baseball. He had a helluva glove.
