Aretha Franklin dies on the same date as Robert Johnson and Elvis. That's a trio right there.

Was reading about Elvis. He seemed really old when it happened, and was younger than I am now.

    Champagne wishes and caviar dreams.

    RIP Robin Leach

I personally thought that the show was all that was wrong with the way we look at life, but I know a lot of people enjoyed it.

Somehow I always found that show to be kind of tame. Didn't feel like they were trying to make you feel lesser because you didn't have that lifestyle. A lot of shows today seem 100x worse.

    RIP Stan Brock.

You guys probably don't know who this is. Brock was in Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, but he is much better known in the East/Northeast TN & SW Virginia regions as the founder of the Remote Area Medical Health Expedition (RAM). RAM clinics have provided free healthcare and dentalcare to people in rural areas who do not have medical insurance and could not pay for those services. People commonly line up a day or days in advance of a clinic that serves thousands each time.

Thank you for all you have done to help those who are less fortunate, Mr. Brock. Rest well.

He should have won an Oscar for boogie nights.

I love smokie and the bandit, but the one where he was a politician was funny too.
