I'd say he ceases to exist in IP's mind, in any and all forms, forever. Does that make it 100%?

Nothing before. Only after. Which is convenient.

Nope. Otherwise mere thought would create new gods. Small gods, according to Terry Pratchett.

Now we are cooking, we are created in Gods image, are we not small gods?

Wasn't it alluded to by the prophets?

Not in the sense as I stated, as referenced to Sir Pratchett.

The overwhelming majority of Jesus recorded words are direct quotes from the prophets.

Ive had my share of church dissension and church splits.

If you have servants of the church, I envy you.

Ah. I had a bad beat with my childhood church as an adult, so I understand. There's nothing good about it.

Ok. Then not all powerful. And not bratty at all unless he wants to do bad things.

Who wrote the first part of Genesis, before man was created?

Not the person who transcribed it, but the author. Note the tense used in regards to the actions of the characters involved.

Have you come to offer an answer to my question different than oe provided? The rest I don't much care about.

If you get a speeding ticket, and I come to court with you and pay the fine out of my own money, I'm not a speeder, but the fine is nonetheless paid and is credited to you as if you had paid it, yourself.

Your memory that he "became sin" is correct, but the context speaks to atonement and not actual assumption.

    JMHO.

Sorry - what was your question? Can God die?

I so, then I have nothing to offer to OE's answer - agreeing with it fully.

To me it does not belittle God to say that he cannot cease to be. The Bible clearly says that God cannot lie. Biblically, there should be no problem with saying, "of course not." Augustinian theology, on the other hand, might beg to differ.
