More fun facts, Auston Matthews leading the league in goals was the first time a Leaf had led the league in goals since 1945-46. Haven’t had a guy lead the league in points since 1938-39.

What's crazy to me is that they were clearly the better team all season, had dominated the first 4 games of the series, and really played about as well in losing efforts the previous two games. This is the only game where they really got solidly beat. And that's it. Series gone. They had it in the bag.

Disappointing result, but that was a hell of a game.

Having Tavares probably would've helped, but really no excuse to drop 3 in a row with 2 of those at home.

With Montreal having Weber and Toronto being Toronto, I found the result of that series to be quite satisfying.

I won't lie, I had very low expectations for that series.

The Canes have that extra gear that works against almost everyone, but the Lightning are so damn good at locking down with a lead.

Couple that with some BS penalties in the second and this is looking like an early exit.

I don't know how long The Habbening will continue, but it sure is as surprising as it is delightful.

I can dig a beat down of the Jets.

Hell they haven’t trailed since game 4 of the Toronto series. It’s kind of ridiculous

Not liking good for the B’s. Islanders have played really well the past three games. It’ll be rather tough to win game 6 in Nassau Coliseum.

Canes with 1 goal in the last 180 minutes of play when facing elimination. This season felt like a step forward, and Tampa is admittedly freakishly good, but also the ending is way too familiar.

I know the seeding is different now, but how many times has the team with the lowest point total going in made the Final?

    Nashville ‘17
    Edmonton ‘06

    Is that it?
