The Lord's Work: John Adams on Blackburn

Addresses rumors on his being an alcoholic, in ill-health, having diabetes, being too nice and in being uncontrollable.

I'll give you three guesses as to where these rumors have originated.

Blackburn is full-blown politicking for the gig. I am glad that he is, but can't fathom how we've pushed him to need to.

So, of our two leading candidates concerns about health and diabetes are hurting the guy not named Fulmer? Sounds about right for Tennessee.

 

I seriously can't believe Fulmer is a candidate. If there were a public debate to decide whether or not to hire Fulmer, I could appoint a drunk five year old that's never heard of UT football as the anti-Fulmer representative, hand him a post-it with notes five seconds before the debate, and he would easily win.

 

I wish Adams had asked Blackburn how many women had he attempted to dissuade from reporting a potential sexual assault over the Shoney's breakfast bar.

That is a red flag for sure. Might hold on to a s***** coach or two out of loyalty or friendship, and that has never happened before at UT.

 

We KNOW Fulmer does this.

 

But we can overlook it because he's so terrible at hiring coaches.
