People keep making this point. It only matters marginally, because his offense is going to annihilate his own defense by getting killed inToP. Good defenses against us will exacerbate the problem of killing our own defense. That’s why it’s inconsitent as hell. Either the offense / QB light it up, or you lose every time. There is no built for tight games stuff.
No, but you can get a small enough square peg to fit into a round hole. No amount of finagling is going to get that hex driver into a star headed bolt.
I went to Auburn in 2013 to watch WSU vs Auburn. Auburn won 31-24. Auburn played for the Natty that year. WSU gave them fits
I guess the people are so desperate they think Leach would be the answer. He would suck in this league period.
I’ll never root for a mediocre hire just to end an awful search. That said, if they hire him or some other coach I’m not enthusiastic about, at least hire him today or tomorrow. That way, I can get drunk and then get back to work on Monday without having to constantly check my phone for updates to see if we have killed our program.
Leach is a crazy uncle version of a cheap Mark Richt...not good Mark Richt. He'll win a game he isn't supposed to then lose 3 straight to teams he's supposed to run. He's a coaching poster child for manic/depression.
I'm interested in what his motivation is for wanting to get into the SEC. What does he see that he can do here? He's not an idiot and won't be in over his head.
Leach beat Stanford and USC this year. He uses running backs as closers. Kinda like Spurrier liked to do.
Just making a one game comparison Wa St playing Auburn tough means nothing. Nothing more. I don't mean to take a shots at people but like most I am sick of this bullshit. The grand slam hire is in front of you. Lane Kiffin.
