    A couple of pertinent items:

The Dodgers seem to be the frontrunners for Zach Grienke's services

The Tigers are looking at Rafael Soriano to be their new closer

The little deals, like the Pirates getting a few young players from the Red Sox and Royals, need no attention. Ryan Madson to the Angels deserve not very much.

What I meant is that if I had two choices:
    (a) discussing off-season baseball transactions or
    (b) taking a swift kick right square in the [penis],

I would choose the latter option, and it would be a pretty easy decision.

The "right square in the [penis]" comments are a bit of a running joke of mine. You're relatively new here, so you had no way of knowing that. Now you know.

I think the BJ Upton contract was terrible by the Braves. Just terrible. His numbers combined with that ballpark? Career 250 hitter, 75-85 RBI ... I don't know what the hell Wren was thinking.

After some flirting of a return to Philly, Shane Victorino becomes a Red Sox. Now there's talk of moving Ellsbury.

Cherington is a retard. Lets see jmoore line up to get bukkaked by Farrell after we lose 87 games this season.

Anyone who believes that the LFC purchase isn't affecting the Sox, and even RFR (telling Kenseth to kiss off) is an idiot.

Lets bring in a DH with a catchers mitt, and a "gritty" outfielder. Maybe we can pick up Jack Clark or trade for Nick Esasky. If nothing else, walk up tickets will exist again.

I think the Astros have Larry Andersen available. Not asking for much in return either.

Outside of last year Victorino has been pretty solid. Not that I like the move, but it could still pan out.

Day 3 featured the Dave Wright re-signing and Jason Bay going to the Mariners. There were little deals but not worth to report. The Angels signed a couple of pitchers (Blanton, S.Burnett)
