He managed to get back John Farrell, a member from the Tito years.

 

Yeah this was obviously a good hire. I don't think Farrell is an exceptional in-game manager but the players love him and he will get that organization righted and quite possibly back into the WS with the money Henry is willing to spend.

 

He would also fix the pitching problem, which was stable during his tenure as pitching coach.

 

Cody Ross gets another shot with the NL West in the form of the Diamondbacks.

Raul Ibanez gets a third tour of duty with the Mariners

 

At some point he's going to quit coming off the bench to hit clutch homer after homer. I just won't put money on when that will be. He was clutch as hell for the Yanks

 

Nick Swisher returns home by signing with The Tribe.

 

Poor Michael Bourn; he is the only top free agent out there. I guess it is not a good thing to have Scott Boars as your agent.

 

Yep - looking like Boringass overplayed his hand. I guess he is counting on the Rangers coming in and overpaying like they usually do to bail themselves out with a reasonable replacement in the OF.
