LeBron now 4th all time in career points. The commentary is interesting. I wonder what people's opinions of LeBron would be if he didn't play in a time where technology allowed fans/media to see and comment on his every move, every single game. I wonder the same about if Jordan played now. To give you an example, this is the current number 2 headline on ESPN.com right now: It's like high school gossip. "Did you see Rondo sitting away from his teammates?" They did the same for LeBron a little while back. I just wonder how stuff like that might have affected people's perception and the legacies of players like MJ, Kobe (to a lesser extent), etc. if they played in this era. I've always felt that guys like MJ and Kobe benefit from selective memory and a bit of revisionist history. That kind of thing can't really happen when your every move is documented.
Dude isn’t even good enough to have a picture on ESPN.com, but he’s currently playing significant minutes and has 10 points for the Lakers
I've not vetted a single one of those numbers, could all be lies. I just thought it was a funny meme.
Gonna? They are three games ahead of the Grizzlies in the standings and have shut down 2 starters for the season. I'd say they are in full tank mode already.
I don't think that's by design. Both guys injured, and Ingram's sounds like it could be pretty serious. Something with blood clotting. With how he was playing prior to the injury (averaging 28 ppg in his previous 6), I don't think they'd shut him down if the injury didn't demand it. They stand to gain more if they play him and he continues playing well to increase his trade value. Also gotta think this injury likely takes his trade value the opposite direction. Not sure what to think about Lonzo. They've claimed they'll start to limit LeBron's minutes. Curious to see how significantly.
