Not at all. Last year, a roommate vacuumed over my ethernet cord while it was plugged into the xbox. It fried my wired port. Since, I have had to use the wireless. I ended up bying a second router and using it as a bridge, placing the second router right next to the xbox to stabilize the connection. This worked for months (prior to doing this, my connection would drop). Since then, I've had a shuffling of roommates and hence a shuffling of furniture. My tv and xbox are now upstairs, and I cannot easily set a bridge router next to it. When I tried to play with that configuration, I had connection problems towards the end of the last dynasty. If I can't find a workaround, it won't be worth doing for me. I looked into getting the wired port replaced, and it would cost a ridiculous amount of money because it is directly connected to the motherboard.
