I can't believe he hasn't been a mainstay so far. He's young but when we went to Busch a few years back he was on fire at the plate
Only thing I've heard negative about him is he is a SOB in a sport full of SOBs. I wonder if part of it is just that bad of a cancer in clubhouse.
Paying that guy an awful lot to be a LOOGY. I guess I can understand trying to see if he can straighten it out. But he's been awful. Also Broxton. I'd have cut that guy loose 2 years ago

Rumblings the Cards may be interested in trading for Stanton. They've got a ton of role players but need the bat every pitcher is terrified of. He would fit the bill.
that Cardinals team was really good when it had its opening day lineup on the field in April, May, and October, and not so good when it was Albert Pujols and the Memphis Redbirds the rest of the season. A bunch of high school baseball teams probably do fundamental baseball things as well as this current operation.
