Why did plants right down the road from carrier recently close with no intervention? It's so easy, right? Picking and choosing.

 

Anyone going to eat crow on the Russia hacking, now that trump acknowledged it? No? Oh.

 

1. Plants re-open. Give it time.
2. I'd call saving 700 jobs better than saving zero jobs.
3. Trump saving 700 jobs is obviously something that President Obama wasn't willing or able to do.
4. Your larger point on corporate vs personal welfare is valid and not unreasonable.

 

What crow is there to eat? Who says Trump's acknowledgement is sufficient proof?

 

Letting a company or individual keep more of their own money isn't subsidizing.

 

The Supreme Court nominee process should be very interesting after the Republicans' very dubious stonewalling of Garland for much of last year.

They'll just expand the nuclear option if they don't get 60 votes. I'm sure the Democrats would've done likewise if they had the majority in the Senate when Garland was nominated.

 

This is really silly.

 

It's entirely unreasonable.

He could nominate anyone, and get them through, and almost certainly without any problems.

The Dems can bluster, and nothing more. Everyone, with the exception of most liberals, realize this.

 

Looks like the report which McCain passed along, and which a host of mainstream media outlets reported as fact (Buzzfeed, CNN, etc.) bogus information that had neither substance nor credibility.

Trump refuses to give CNN a question, calls them "fake news". I guess the consequences of some elections are more immediate than others.

Could you link where this was reported as fact? Buzzfeed said it was unverified and so did CNN.

 

I think Trump held a news conference to whine about it, but maybe he'll toughen up enough to get over it. We'll see.

 

I thought CNN actually reported they couldn't independently verify it.

 

Also he's saying they haven't verified it - not that it is bogus.

I believe it probably is bogus. But...

 

Let me get this straight....
