I was driving home from Circle Park and was so confused. For a moment I thought maybe that is his name and I've been wrong the entire time. Then I remembered its Bob Kesling. Lord.

South Carolina at least has some coast line. Kentucky has nothing.

Yeah but it’s Atlantic coast. Gulf coast or GTFO...

Couldn't disagree more. I like waves. I dislike oil spills.

I like sand that doesn’t look like it came out of an ashtray and as many years as I’ve spent at the Gulf coast, I have yet to see any oil... either in the water or on the beach. I get what you’re saying but as a vacation experience the Gulf is far superior to the Atlantic and it’s not even debatable.

The problem here is that I am right here debating it with you. The water is often flat and too warm. You get red tides. The white sand is blinding and gives reflection burns. There's less history around, too.

We used to take a end of summer trip to Siesta Key, for about 7 years. The sand was nice and soft, very fine. We could go out relax and watch our girls play in the water and build sand castles. The last time we went, the place was packed with people from Miami, and it was ruined.

I like Carolina beaches better. Gulf is basically a lake.

Some spend money on cars and whatnot. Ive spent some on travelling the last 25 years. First red tide ive dealt with on the gulf was this year. the wind shift made the last 2 days nice.
--Don't care for cali beaches at all, except venice people watching. Huntington is nasty. Nasty water. Nicer @ San Diego but cold.
--east coast sucks and looks like a scene from Jaws with brown water and nobody more than knee deep in mud beaches.
--Hawaii incredible vibe and scenery in Kauai
--nothing beats the water and beaches on the gulf, outside of Jun-aug, where its too hot and some june grass can be a pain.
--Miami Beach for looking at [breasts].
--myrtle beach if you need to borrow a cigarette.

Not sure what you guys are seeing with these mud beaches and awful sand.

Bahamas, Jamaica, and St. Croix have the clearest water I've ever seen.

I want to go to Turks. SWA flies there now. Roatan water is awesome around the reef.

For real? I like both fine but compare a 30A beach to Kiawah/Pawleys/HH and it’s a fair point.

I mean. The water isn’t as clear. It isn’t muddy. You don’t emerge from it covered in shit.
