I played a bunch of Lady Vols in the late 90s and they were good, but the only one who I thought could hang with the guys is Tamika Catchings. She was an athlete. Michelle Snow elbowed me in the chest about 15 times. I didn't play against Holdsclaw, so maybe her, too.

 

Nicky Anosike and Candace Parker were the two from my time at Tennessee I would bet could hang.

 

WNBA champion vs a HS state championship team wouldn't even be a competitive game. It's a fact. Facts are pesky like that.

 

College baseball teams actually beat pro teams in exhibitions at a not-insignificant frequency. They would of course lose a 7 game series, but with an elite pitcher, they can win games.

But why must that be interjected into women's sports? What does it help or do?

 

I don't know, I haven't watched a woman's basketball game since the AP paid me to but I'm not going to harp on how boys can beat girls in sports either. It's common knowledge
