    Yeah I love their stuff.

Bought a peloton and haven't had any regrets. Great for HIIT at home

You have a 5th Avenue apartment looking over Central Park? Guess you cannot hide money.

Paging our resident knee specialist (@Ssmiff ).

What’s it mean if im feeling some minor discomfort (not pain) on the front of my kneecap at times? Almost has a “sliding” feeling, like the top half of my leg is just gonna keep going forward (not side to side), while the bottom half is planted.

I’m sorry Indy, but it’s going to need to be amputated

Not sure. Did you do something or running? Could be a spur on the cap. I dont know what no pain is. Tendinitis or a tear be painful. Usually injury results in fluid buildup

Playing flag football. Jumped up to catch a ball that was throw hard and high. It felt weird/hurt after I landed. Not sure if it was the jump or landing that did it, but the feeling is definitely a result of a specific action.

What I feel now is occasional, and I would call it “discomfort” rather than “pain.”

I was mostly joking about you weighing in though. I just know you have a history of knee stuff, so I wanted to talk some shit.

Unfortunately I do have experience there and around sportsmed injuries and surgeries as part of my business. From meniscus bucket tears to acls to bone spurs on the kneecap to arthritis, total knee and patellar tendon rupture, I know them far too well.
Don't want to scare you and I'm older, but a few minutes prior to my patellar tendon tear, I felt a little weirdness. Thought it was just being tired. Ends up that was signaling me to stop but I kept going and it popped. The sensation I felt was probably some initial tendon fibers pulling away.
I'd rest it, ice it and if it still feels funny after the weekend, have it looked at. Crazy thing is even though my patellar tendon tear was violent and my kneecap recoiled midway up my thigh, the pain was minimal, unless I tried to move my leg. Much different pain than acls for me.

Mine isn’t constant. It’s just occasional. No idea if that matters. I’m not sure what good icing it would do. There’s no visible change or swelling.

Leaning towards sitting out of this weekend’s game, but I guess we will see.

Anybody on here do the Peloton thing? Or the home gym thing in general?

We are looking at purchasing some home equipment and wondering if the price of the peloton is justified over other options. I tend to be more of a treadmill guy myself, but I'm not sure the ceiling in our basement is high enough, and I'm not sure where else we'd have room for it in the house.

Is the Peloton and its programs worth it over just a normal, every day exercise bike?

Also, anybody have an sort of home weights or resistance type equipment that they recommend? I don't think we'd need anything crazy, but we just haven't researched what's out there.

Still no regrets? Could you get a similar result out of a less expensive exercise bike?

This looks solid, though I don't think I really know that we'd be able to mount anything in our basement. Also need to get something that's female friendly (easy to use), or else I'm going to have to be constantly explaining shit.

Not a single regret. Great investment. No frills similar result? Sure you can get in the ballpark. You won't get the classes or quality of machine.
