They shackled Dobbs ability to run, too. Can anyone explain why would you routinely play a non-throwing WR at QB - and that's exactly what Dobbs is, stop lying to yourselves - and then forbid him to run, the one thing he's great at, and limit him to throwing, the one thing he's worst at?

Why?

I'd you're afraid he'll be hurt, just bench him and give the reps to a younger guy.

I didn't notice any big miscues from him, but it is possible with contain. There were definitely some issues there.

Regarding Shoop, not sure how you can come to any conclusion ATP.

I thought Barnett was fabulous. He was part of the reason they were afraid to throw the ball. He was at the QB even on the quick stuff. He was way too much for that RT. Easily the best player on the field last night. Sutton, save the punt ****, played well too.

I didn't think Kirkland played very well, along with the rest of the interior defenders.

 

Your definition of coaching and mine are obviously quite different.

I haven't read all through this thread, but back to the OP. I don't agree. We've got everything that's needed to be a great program except the people to run it. That the guy we've got right now could assemble this roster on the heels of [ddiapos] should say it all.

A NFL Scout's breakdown of the game last night. He was not real impressed with Hurd, Dobbs, or the OLine. Liked what he saw from Barnett, Sutton, Malone, Vereen, and Wolf.
