Both, to a degree. Also due to fickle fans and their conditional love.

Oh, and fans singing Rocky Top while on ****ing offense. That's at least worth one loss, maybe two.

I wish this board was invite only. It has so much potential.

I like this place because you can pretty much say whatever. At VN you get banned for no apparent reason.

The people on this site love TN as much anyone on any other board and I can promise you, they'd love Butch, or at least approve of him if he'd just win.

Ive been banned from VN and VQ. All I am trying to accomplish here is a little spirited football debate. This childish "do you even know what football is" BS is bush league and a staple of both aforementioned sites that we have all tried to escape.

To be fair, you started down that road with "this board is missing intelligent football discussion" when there's nothing to discuss.

    Was I wrong?

There is plenty to discuss but when someone raises a valid point, such as the injury situation or receiver rotation, it becomes this.

Eh. I just disagree that we have a serious injury bug.

    So defend your ****ing point.

You suggested that Tennessee has suffered an unusually high amount of injuries. No one agreed. You offered nothing to support your point.

What does it matter if Marquez North is injured? Guy has played most of the games and has 5 catches.

What makes your point valid? Nothing makes me think UT has more injuries this year than any other year. It's much better than it was under Bennie Wiley.

Oh Jesus H. Christ. I just took some ambien so I cant do this tonight. I'll back tomorrow with pie charts, bar graphs and a dissertation.

    For instance:

The National Sports Injury Surveillance System collected data during the 1986 and 1987 playing seasons from a national sample of 6,229 college football players. The overall injury rate for the two seasons was 45.27/100 athletes.

Data from the 80's, but at least a starting point...

Weren't you essentially doing the same thing to get it all started on page 1 of this thread, by saying you wonder how much people on this site actually follow TN football?

Don't come in here firing bullets and expect a quite response. That's all I got.
