Both Transfer Portal Threads Merged

Window starts Monday. A few have already announced their intent. I've not heard anything from anyone on our side wanting to leave, although I know there will be some.

Other than defensive backs, what do we need to look for the most. Anyone that's already announced that we need to go after hard?

 

A TE and a couple of linebackers for sure

An impact WR wouldn’t hurt. I bet they’ll go after Lovett from Mizzou

Will need a qb if Tayven Jackson leaves. Don’t want to go into next year with only 2 on scholarship

 

TE and linebackers must be a priority, particularly impactful ones.

 

Khyree Jackson (Bama) and JQ Hardaway (Cincy) are corners that tos says to keep an eye on.

I feel like DB, particularly S, is a bigger need than TE is. LB I agree with 100% though.

Also grab any OL that would fit well. Mincey has been a breath of fresh air as a 1st year transfer starter.

Tight end is the biggest need, I think they'll get two and lose Miles Campbell to the portal.

They'll take a linebacker and a safety if they're good but they'll be selective.

No one willl turn down high quality linemen

I think Heupel is more cherry picking than desperation shopping outside of tight end

 

Tight end is the biggest need, there aren't any on the roster outside of Warren that are sec caliber (and Warren may decide to move on). The 2023 guy is coming off shoulder surgery

 

Tayven probably won't leave until after the 2023 season if he leaves at all.

 

Definitely will look to land 1-2 TEs. I'm not sure you need to add much else on offense unless it is an impact level player.

Holiday and Calloway both leaving, which is funny because I could never keep them straight anyway.

 

Just not much pt for him with what’s coming back. He’d be fighting for 4th or 5th wr in rotation but could fall back.

Add them to Wideman and Beckwith and you've got the 4 WRs that were takes for Pruitt while offering a preferred walk-on spot for Ladd McConkey.
