I know exactly what you meant.

Still, I stand by my statement.

Yes, yes - every regulation is inherently good and necessary.

    I understand your position.

I didn't say that and have explicitly said otherwise here I the past week. Good grief.

I don't follow the coal stuff so I don't know much about it. Why do the coal miners have such a beef with the last administration and Democrats for the most part?

So the coal miners are complaining just to complain? I never got into what is going on with all this.

I think a major recession is worth decades of strong growth even to the non rich. Obama's middle class recovery in wages was the worst in American history coming off a recession. As was the economic growth. An extra even 1 percent a year in gdp growth is worth the risk of things "blowing up." Though to be clear I don't really believe things blow up because of lack of regulations in general. Boom and busts are part of a natural cycle. I just want the booms to be as big as possible

They implimented pollution controls which have been in the pipeline since bush Jr. But the switch really wasn't ecomicaly viable until recently. Try telling any workforce that they've become obsolete or technology has made them less useful and see how happy they are about it.

It's certainly hard to imagine a scenario where it does.

Nothing tangible to cause this. This is all intangible and reflects expectation. Now he needs to deliver on regulations and tax or it's going to hurt.

The natural cycle is to over regulate after things blow up and under regulate when things are doing well which doesn't make a lot of sense logically, but is the way things work.
