UNC Game

We going to get this done?

I imagine a win will completely change the national and conference perception of this team, almost as much as the battle for Atlantis did

 

I hate that we have had only 1 game in 2 weeks. Worried we will come out pressing ourselves.
Heard commentary last night during a game mentioning how we led them at UNC for 38 minutes last year, so we won't surprise them this time.

they have a badass pg that didn't play last year, but they aren't as big. Interesting to see if we pressure him all the way up and even 40 feet out in half court.

 

Berry didn't play last year. He makes a big difference. It'll be a tough game to win, but the atmosphere should be electric. They have to limit turnovers in this game. It would not surprise me to see them pull out a win. If I had to pick a winner right now, I'd say UNC by 5 points.

 

Think they were missing someone else in addition to Berry last year.

 

yes Berry. If we overplay him he's going to drive by us all night and finish or kick out for the open 3. I hope we don't pressure him out at the circle.

I would love to be wrong and the pressure affect him and get us going. I just think UNC would follow Novas 2nd half game plan.

 

They were also missing senior forward Theo Pinson. Solid player. Could make a difference since most of their bigs are young.

 

We are a better and more experienced team this year than we were last year. We have a legit shot to win this game if we come out and play well.

The most interesting thing in this thread is learning of a one degree separation between BPV and Ssmiff.

 

Ar and I never played. Talked it but never got to. I think we were on the same course at the same time at some point.
