If that is where we are in 1 year then I agree with you.
All of those things are still true in 2018
The year is not over yet. If they are still true in 2019 then I am not happy.
Trump Shows Kim a Video Laying Out the Stakes of Summit
From the Document signed by Trump and Kim:
President Trump committed to provide security guarantees to the DPRK, and Chairman Kim Jong Un reaffirmed his firm and unwavering commitment to complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.....
...Reaffirming the April 27, 2018 Panmunjom Declaration, the DPRK commits to work toward complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula...
It plays well to the audience it was intended for. And I hope its message is taken to heart by Kim.
Hope he ran this by POTUS, because that's not what was said last night:
Obama called it an “agreement” for the intentional and express purpose of circumventing the necessary and Constitutionally-required approval of the US Senate.
This is not a debateable point.
The messages from the WH have been consistently and constantly garbled, mangled and contradictory. I don't see why this would be different.
The only difference is that we’ve now got a POTUS who seems willing to work to address it, hopefully, through peaceable means.
Either VP or a GOP Sen is lying.
It wasn't a treaty.
Like the last one did with Iran and cuba, which was unacceptable. Go team, I guess
This country is in a tribal phase right now. It will cycle back toward moderation eventually, but for now it is what it is.
I'd say things are a lot better in cuba
Senator could have misunderstood.
Now that Trump has rolled back Obama’s Cuba gaffe, I don’t think about them very much.
That is how I feel about Iran; except Israel is going to take care of them.
