We're 10th in the country in total revenue. And so I guess that raises a few questions in my mind:

1) Are we actually broke? Or still broke?
2) If so, how in the hell did that manage to happen? Or to continue happening?

 

i'd be interested to see where they get those numbers. i can't believe oregon is generating that much revenue

 

We have the smallest margin between expenses and revenue of anyone in the top 10. Sad.

 

i don't get why the subsidy isn't purely expenses minus revenues. michigan has $12 mil more in revenues than expenses, yet still shows a subsidy.

 

FWIW - I've asked a couple of people about this, and they told me that the report is pretty bogus and a lot of the subsidies they list for various schools don't actually exist.

Some probably is legit, some probably isn't. Considering I've questioned the 12m from the first time i saw it, that part probably is.
