UT/Bama

Has the kickoff time for this game even been set yet? I haven't seen anything online. I might be overlooking it.

 

I'm not so sure. Historically, in the rare occasions of Bama being eliminated from national title contention in the Saban era, they tend to be far more likely to be flat. Utah, epic collapse against Cam Newton, Oklahoma, etc.

 

Yep. Saban tends to say screw it if he can't win a national title.

What's crazy is, in 8 seasons, that's only happened three times during the year.

 

CBS exercised their 6 day option on this one. We're wither 3:30 CBS or 7 ESPN kickoff

 

If Bama loses Saturday, the upset opportunity is there IMO.

Are they preparing for Running Dobbs or Not Running Dobbs? Maybe Butch isn't as dumb as we thought.......

 

I predict Bama will beat the Vols worse than they (Bama) beat Georgia.

 

Alabama will run is into the ground if we can't establish a passing game. Their front 7 is probably the best in the country but their secondary has had problems giving up the big play and it's been a problem for a few years.

 

Dobbs needs to create chaos with his feet.

 

Bama has at least been proven human at times against a mobile QB.

 

a mobile qb who can throw it 40 yards down field accurately.

 

I cannot even get remotely excited about this game or anything UT. Not in a cheerful, hopeful manner, anyway.

Man I hate being apathetic.

 

I'm not at all apathetic about the Bama game, the way that I was about the last two. Highly pessimistic, yes. But I want to win.

 

If Doobs can throw the ball well enough to keep them in cover two, we will give them issues. If they can go cover one and load the box, we're in trouble.

 

We re gonna start Dormady.

 

IIRC most thought he would play anyway knowing where Worley was physically. Jones held it back to pretty close to gametime.
