Dooley was a panic hire. Jones was a horrible hire when they had a whole [uck fay]ing year to figure something out. Pruitt was the least terrible of a whole series of awful choices. I am not eager to just get out the guillotine without a clear plan.

Heupel has serious deficiencies which are going to cost him his job very soon. He doesn't care about fielding a solid defense. Evern Spurrier understood this. He can't make halftime adjustments to save his [uck fay]ing life (or, perhaps, his job), and he can't pull the trigger on coaches who aren't capable on this level.
