Exhibition but supposed to be competitive.

He didn't play against Mich State. Someone mentioned a procedure but it was supposed to be minor.

He had a knee procedure in the offseason. I didn't know it. Supposed to be back before the opener.

Good give him more time. He will play plenty enough minutes this year.

 

Decided buying a ppv for a preseason basketball scrimmage was dumb, but looking forward to hearing how tonight goes. Regardless of what the scoreboard says (if they are even keeping score) it should be an excellent chance for our team to get better heading into the real games.

11-7 Vols after 4 minutes. ZZ, SV, and Aidoo all have 3s. Phillips picked up 2 quick fouls

54-50 Gonzaga leads at the half. Both teams over 50% from 3. Perimeter defense from both teams has been a little loose. Inside it has been physical.

 

Are both teams playing their starters as if it is a real game? Or are a lot of guys getting rotated in?

 

Vols have played about 9 guys but the pace has been insane. Both teams are trying to win.

Lots of loose balls as expected. Gonzaga reaching a lot.
Aidoo hit and early 3 and another one late was on line.
Key has a little awkward looking shot but damn what a start for him.

 

No Edwards, Awaka or Jefferson so far.
Phillips looked like the game was moving too fast for him.
