This is copy-paste so possibly wrong but looks to be right. The guy said he gathered the numbers himself. I checked and the Tennessee number is correct. Looks like there is a good gap between us and third. All I can think is that all our frustration that we weren't investing in a top football coach for over a decade have been proven right and then some. When Tennessee is rolling, our revenue-generating ability is just as good as anyone but Texas. And actually, give football or basketball a championship, and it likely goes even higher. SEC Athletic Department Revenue 2025 Texas – $353m Tennessee – $304m Alabama – $246m Georgia – $241m Texas A&M – $235m LSU – $223m Oklahoma – $208m Auburn – $205m Arkansas – $195m Kentucky – $188m Missouri – $182m Ole Miss – $178m Not posted: Florida ($200m in 2024) South Carolina ($183m in 2024) Miss State ($127m in 2024) Vandy (private)
I find it hard to believe we have more money than aTm. But I don't know how this was calculated, if at all.
Arkansas and Kentucky are lower that I thought. If they go all in on basketball, their football teams are definitely going to stay bad.
I like beer, but not for $30. And if served in a large 20 oz cup, would be warm and flat halfway through. Hard pass. Will stay with overpriced water. Alcohol leaves me tired after initial buzz wears off. Alcohol is overrated.
Not just one, anyway I do usually think about getting a beer but the thought of being able to get a 6 pack of 16 oz yeunglings at the store for half the price usually stops me
I got a beer at a basketball game, and it was~$15. The most expensive stadium beer I’ve ever had is at Capital One Arena in DC. They’re over $20
friend bought dinner so I told him I’d get game beers. Good trade by him. I spent over $150. Have to drink them fast too because they were barely cold in first place.
That seems about right, but it may be $40. I always buy two when I buy, but not every beer is priced the same I think. I hardly pay attention usually.
Holy cow the $30 beer part was a joke. Assumed most would know that. It was just a jab because we have the highest beer price in the SEC (well tied with South Carolina).
At least at a high level most of it seems plausible but I feel like I read years ago that these numbers are rarely totally apples to apples across schools.
