Last night I heard Hyams bring up that the school record for team assist/turnover ratio for a season is 1.30 He said this team was at 1.74 coming into this game. And that number is probably growing after tonight - we had 12 assists and only 3 turnovers in the first half.
We're in high gear on O. On pace for 100. Defense around the rim has been good, as it usually is. The perimeter is still lacking.
What’s the reason we are so bad at guarding the 3 ball? Carolina has 39 points off of 3 pointers. It’s atrocious.
We are poor on ball defenders, forcing us to scramble too often. Plus, we seem to be super lazy at getting back and finding our man.
Effort. South Carolina shot the lights out from 3 and still got their ass beat. They know they can get away with it. It will look different starting Saturday. Hope so anyway.
Losing the one kid over and over was silly. Mostly happened with Alexander switching off. That team had zero penetration and a couple of the 3s straight pull ups from 23 with nobody underneath. People complained about us flying at so many 3 point shooters. Seems like we lately have been going at the shooter and not elevating with a hand up.
