I have been fighting this for years now, but just like my eyes being opened after the OU game in '15, my eyes are now wide open. We are a third tier program down there with Miss St and Arkansas. And I don't see us ever getting out of this hole. Good night, UT, I have and still do love you. But I must now accept you are no longer a tier 1 program.
We can absolutely get back. But it doesn't just happen on its own and it won't happen overnight and it won't happen when the best quarterback on your team is JG-level.
If we fall ass backwards into a decent hire, it can be turned around (look at Clemson). Problem is we have no luck and we won't make a decent hire on our own.
With an average coach with even severe personal problems, those 2015 and 2016 team make a [uck fay]ing run. It's a damn travesty neither got even 10 wins, let alone won the division and challenged for a playoff spot.
Wouldn't make the playoffs. I don't think you or I are exaggerating, either. They are fundamentally [uck fay]ed.
