Weekly Cuonzo Praise Thread

Was reading about our 2nd international scrimmage against BC Altetas today on TOOS, picked up a few fun facts.

• This team hit 16 3's in a win against UGA earlier in the week and connected on only 4 against us.
• We were called for 33 out of 46 fouls
• By the end of the game, the BC Altetas coach said "This isn't basketball. It's boxing!"

We also won 82-68 with Stokes scoring 21.

Lol, that team sucked.

 

Top notch.

 

It feels good to have such confidence in a coach as a leader. Even if things don't work out, we know we aren't moving backwards.

 

We practiced zone today once we were ahead a million to three (or whatever the score was). I'm glad CCM got a little less stubborn about that--it's good to learn his defense, but it's worthwhile to have something else that the guys have practiced once or twice in case of emergency.

 

I kind of read that as an act of mercy.

Pretty nice trip. Hard to read to much into it, but it seems they played well.
