Thank you. I thought I forgot to pay my bill.

 

I just want to know where all my dues to the web site go if a simple cron job can bring us crashing down.

Is this why my browser keeps logging me out?

No. The only reason your browser would log you out is because you didn't select "remember me," and so the cookie expires.

 

Mines been doing it too. Definitely select “remember me” and it doesn’t.

I use Firefox and Safari on iPhone, without problems.

You can try to clear your cache for the site, and wipe all the cookies for here, close browser, then log in and select remember me.

Are you still in incognito mode after beating off? Won’t remember it if that’s the case, even if you click the remember me option. Incognito clears everything once closed.

I cleared all the cache and mines working great now, unfortunately

 

Last night, the site pegged CPU and disk I/O. No idea why.

Server wouldn't reboot, or accept logins.

I advocated just letting it die, but Tenacious D overruled it, and we are, for now, back up. Blame him for still being able to post here.

 

Doing a post mortem after a close loss always makes it hurt worse.

If the entire site was just Indy arguing with himself, I’d be for keeping it.

Simply, the site isn’t going anywhere.
