It certainly reads well and I love the hybrid pro-set with 11 and 12 personnel groupings. That said, Friend has a hell of a task in front of him if this is, in fact, the scheme that they run. The O lineman communicating the protections is something that we don’t do well if at all.
Personally I think a good 12 personal team is the biggest pain in the ass to defend. Especially if one of those TEs is off the line like an H back
Stripling had the dline looking coached. I didn't like that they gave up contain to rush the qb, but you could tell they at least knew what the were doing.
He had them looking coached in 2013. I don’t know how we had four 5* recruits that never developed though.
There is a lot of truth to this. At every stop Butch took over steady programs and bolted after 3 seasons. He never stayed long enough to coach his recruits. He has no clue how to develop kids out of high school
I hope he is in on a couple qbs because it looks like Martinez and Penix may both go elsewhere. Not sure they were suited for the new offense anyway. They may have been more suited for the run for your life style
Taggert offered. Being from Florida and running an offense better suited, it'd be hard for Penix not to get up for that FSU offer.
