Long story short... just because a player is in protocol doesn’t mean they had a concussion. he very well may have had two concussions. From what I was told, though, it was only one and the neck was the first concern. from my own personal experience... I got knocked unconscious in a game one time. Full blown silliness when I woke up. Headache as bad as I’ve ever had in my entire life. Think migraine on steroids. Headache went away in 2 days. my neck from how I hit the other players knee, was jammed. It literally hurt for 3 weeks. Still have pain in the same spot to this day on rare occasions. I’ll say this about the whole thing... Pruitt isn’t CBJ. If he plays, it won’t be because of influence he’s tried to put on medical staff.
Also, after the INT he had an arm hanging limp as he went to the sideline which would make sense with it being some type of neck/stinger issue. Still weird that he dropped to a knee after handing off on the next play after getting hurt.
unless his neck/trapezius was spiking in pain from the hand off. that actually fits the neck stinger picture really well imo.
We're breaking the record Houston set 30 years ago this week for total yards in a game boys. Going with the ol' Hayden Fox fake the injury to the QB to get his team fired up like he did in the 1991 Pineapple Bowl. Set the wheels in motion to win the NC two years later. I like it.
