Well alright then bizznatches, I guess ole KidB is just gonna have to win the billion all by himself. Or just 500M, actually, because I'll go ahead and take that lump sum payment. Either way, Taco Bell on me after I win.
Damn, I was getting excited about my future as a millionaire. Think of the coaches we could have brought to Tennessee sports...
Let's say we get 20 people to fill out brackets, we just have to come up with the 20 most mathematically possible brackets and hope for the best.
Screw it I'm going solo. If I win, big changes will come. Who wants to be the UTAD/President/Chancellor/Dean?
I'll settle for supreme chancellor of the galactic republic of vols message boards. I will thusly need you to purchase all vols message boards. SCGRVMB has spoken! (We may also need a marketing person to come up with a better title...)
This is all I have so far, from 1985-2010 Mode 1 9 5 4 3 6 7 2 | 1 4 3 2 | 1 2 | 1 | 1 | 1 Freq 1.00 0.54 0.66 0.79 0.85 0.68 0.60 0.96 | 0.88 0.42 0.51 0.64 | 0.72 0.46 | 0.43 | 0.48 | 0.62 I need the last few years, where two 16 seeds knocked off a 1 seed, but, since this only goes to 2010: A 1 seed always won their first game 9 seeds won out over 8 seeds 54% of the time. 66% of the time, the 5 seed won. The | denote the step down from 32 teams, to 16, 8, 4, 2, winner. Not groundbreaking.
1. Mode and frequency the listed seed won their games in each round. So for the first number, 1 was 100% in round 1, 9 beat the 8 seed more times (mode) at that frquency (.54 or 54%) of the time in round 1. Round two would be after the first |. Which then shows that 1st seed won XX% of their 2nd round games. 2. The data is from 1985-2010. Which means it doesn't have 2011,2012,2013.
