    The end result doesn't have to be the same, though. The future depends on whether we want to wait long enough to effect a different end result.

    And we don't, because we lack patience, and don't have the economic ability to carry us along for a sustained period of time, even if we did have patience.

    But us not wanting to wait is not the same as saying it would be that way, anyway.

    I think the economic harm is higher on the list than patience. Stuff has to be produced, harvested, processed, and shipped.

    If the vaccine(s) isn't sucessfully, then we'd have to invest years into lock down.

    If the vaccines aren't successful, we do what must be done. But doing it now wastes the last 6 months.
