Win Out or Lose One ?

What's the prevailing thoughts here ? Do we win out and go to a stinky bowl game or do you think we stub our toe on one of the last games ?

Between talent and schedule, tough to not win out.

 

I think we'll lose.

 

South Carolina scored a couple of points yesterday.

I think we'll win out, but Missouri and Vandy will slow down our offense a little.

 

I'm more likely to believe they win out after last night's performance against a much less talented team.

I want to say win out. It's what OUGHT to happen but I just can't trust this staff not to drop one. Hopefully I'm wrong.

 

Before last night I was sure we would drop one, perhaps two. But I think the staff has finally gotten out of the talent's way (by choice or the players saying **** you), and will win out.

What that means for our future is still up in the air for me.

Edit: or we so severely out talent the opposition that Lyle could actually try to lose and still win. I fear we go 8-4, win some schlep bowl game and Lyle gets a damn extension. You cannot ou talent the top teams in our conference. That is what undid Fulmer. You have to get talent then coach your ass off. And lyle cannot out coach me.

 

Logic would have it based on our talent, win out. But then there's the x factor --- coaching

The announcers said last night, if we win out and end up 8-4, then that's progression of UT....let that sink in for a moment.

I think that had more to do with A&M's defense than us finding any kind of rhythm. Their defense looked like garbage. You all will name the score Saturday.
