4 today. 1st guess delivered 0. Was worried.

 

Took all six. But I was incredibly dumb and two of guesses had letters where I KNEW THE LETTERS DIDNT GO THERE.

Wife said I was dumb.

 

Another day, another completed puzzle. Though it did take me until my 5th try this time.

 

This is freaking awesome. The adieu tip is a game changer.

Edit: Apparently ROATE is a word that is really good to start with as well. Says google.

I believe RAISE is the next “best” one as it is also in the answer pool where ROATE is not.

4 as well. I was an idiot and reused a letter I knew was wrong in my second guess. If I hadn’t done that the word I would have used for my second would have given me a decent shot at 3.

I usually start with AEROS.

 

I read an article where a programmer was trying to find the best starting word, and that’s what I took from it. There are significantly more words that it recognizes than words that can actually be correct answers

That’s also where I read that ROATE and RAISE were the best starters

 

I start with SNORT then ADIEU is my second word.
