I interviewed a guy who used to run a ferris wheel at a carnival. Dead serious. I couldn't get him out of our building fast enough!!!

 

Carnies are some scary people. I know a guy (Big Tom of Survivor fame) that had both his nostrils cut out by a group of carnies. True story.

 

A box of kiddie porn under the mattress is mandatory for a carnie.
