No two situations are the same, but more than half of the farm I hunt on got clear cut and it also looks like a bomb hit it, truly depressing looking. I think you may be surprised though how good the hunting can be in it (assuming the terrain allows it). I've been hunting the clearcuts exclusively the past two years and it seems a lot of times deer think it provides them more cover than it actually does, and there is a lot for them to browse on in it.

Rolling hills and pasture is the terrain

I pass up a bunch of bucks every year

You're amongst friends here if you think it stinks worse than the southbound end of a northbound menstruating skunk.

    Hell yea. Glad you're back.

Do I need to build an ark here in Morristown? I'll hang up and listen.

A lot of mornings I will just walk flats that look down into steep draws. It seems like they struggle to wind me, whether that's from being far enough above them or them not being able to pin point it I'm not sure. The best way I know to describe it is that a mature deer in an open field is going to be very cautious, looking up often. A deer in thick woods is more likely to feel safe, letting it's guard down. In my experiences thus far, the deer in our clearcuts behave like the deer in thick woods.

    Count,

Git a special weather statement for Tuesday. Severe storms with torrential rain and strong wind. Never seen a warning this far out for that. What gives?

Should my house sitter be worried? I'm boarding a cruise ship out of Lauderdale in the morning, so I will be safe, but will my house? Need your meteorological expertise.

I built a bad ass brick pit a couple of years ago

I can smoke about 24 Pork Butts at a time on it

    I wouldn't worry to much

Mostly rain out of this with isolated severe weather, mainly high winds

    Girls eating popsickles bad.

It's bad. In fact, I hear this when the offense takes the field:

Its the essence of the word Offensive

I actually feel sorry for Worley. He can't even get a life insurance policy because his job is considered too dangerous
