Jeremy Pruitt will have failed at UT if this kid ever sees the field. I don’t see the point of running your mouth on Twitter. Be a leader in the locker room and the practice field. Twitter theatrics, such as calling your own teammates out on Twitter, is useless and immature. It’s something I would do.
I think that's insane. Freshman don't police seniors. That's exactly backwards. And if every walk-on scrub has license to deride the the guys who actually contribute, that isn't "taking responsibility for the well-being of the program," it's opening up a [itch bay]fest. Sports is a meritocracy. And while I may not think much of some of the upperclassman starters, they have more merit than Frosh walk-on.
Eric Berry did it his first game. I realize this kid is no Eric Berry, but neither is anyone else on the roster.
It’s like Jeremy Banks, I love his energy and attitude, but you can’t run your mouth when you’ve fumbled 3 times with limited carries. With that being said, I hope he’s a starting linebacker next season and grows into the leader of the team. The Daniel Bituli/Al Wilson comparisons this preseason are embarrassing.
