It depends on who UGA gets after Richt. The east is pretty shitty right now. I doubt Muschamp does anything at UF, Spurrier didn't do anything until he found Lattimore and neither UK or Vandy matter.

A coach could come in and grab the east by the balls.

 

I just get the feeling that some people expect Tennessee to get some big name hire after this, and I'm just not at all convinced that's the case.

Whoever we get will likely have question marks. However, he likely won't be a guy with a losing record in an awful conference, either.

 

Florida won't give Muschamp much time at all if he doesn't win. Richt is likely gone after his next bad season. I hope we aren't hiring at the same time they are.

Either way, I would argue a new coach would have a much better chance to get off to a good start if he took over after 2012 instead of after 2013. I think having a chance to get off to a strong start would be much more beneficial than having another year of depth on the roster.
