I would say trips to Atlanta at least every three to four years and wins at LEAST 9-10 games consistently. Playoff appearances regularly enough to keep us in the national conversation and Neyland returned to its rightful place as a location opposing teams definitely do NOT want to be on football Saturdays.
If you wanna get a 1000 yard stare, compare the resume of Pruitt to butch and Dooley when they came in. Even if you hate this hire, it is emperically better than the last 2 by a lot.
but why not get behind him? Mad about Gruden? Wanted Patterson or Peterson which was as likely as Gruden. It's either get on board and get healing and see what happens, or dump the program and do something else with your time. Or say he's gonna suck and remind people daily that you called it day one, which is not a gutsy call in the least. Is it even official? I could see him going home and pressure resulting in a last minute cancel.
Hell, if he just fulfills the promise Fulmer failed to do that would be "my satisfaction"... we left at least 2 or 3 SEC championships and 1 National on the table... if Pruitt capitalizes on opportunities like that he'll get a statue and a street named for him here.
